What's your style?
My style tends to be relaxed and a little different from your average studio photographer. I prefer not to introduce a lot of props and uncomfortable positions. Kids, especially, take the best photographs when they forget the camera is there. Candid shots can sometimes make the best photographs.
I do both color and black and white but love the look of black and white. I think it is timeless and classy and can really add a lot to most pictures.
I prefer natural lighting and use that as much as possible. However, I also use flash when the situation calls for it.
Do you shoot weddings?
Not at this time. My decision is to focus on what I do best. Portrait photography is my passion. There are also a lot of logistics that tend to be involved with wedding photography.
Where are you located?
I'm located in Newnan, GA but will travel within reason.
Do you offer any packages?
AT this time only the “Baby's First Year” package. This package includes an 8x10 print with each session. All of our prints are ordered a la carte, meaning you choose what you want. Who knows better what you want than you?
Can I order just the proofs?
Proofs can only be ordered in addition to a minimum print order of $650.
Can I just order proofs and then get my own prints made?
The short answer: No.
All photographers own the copyright to their work. Due to this legality, businesses such as Wal-mart and Target will not make copies of another photographer's work without a written release. If you need special accommodations, please let me know and I can work with you on this matter.
Additionally, this involves more than copyright issues. A lot of time is spent on our part to create the quality prints that you expect. A scan of one of our prints will never look as good as the original. Bad prints/copies can affect the perception of our business to potential customers. We hope you understand.
Can I use a picture for my own website, myspace page, etc.?
Sure, but there's a catch. We watermark these pictures for copyright purposes and so that others will know who took the picture. On our blog {click here} we typically post a few shots of each session. Feel free to download any of these photos to your computer. If there is another picture of you or your family that you like better just email us and we'll be happy to make it for you. The only other catch is that we limit this to only pictures posted on the blog and/or one additional picture.
Sorry, but printing any of these photos is still not allowed without a copyright release.
Can I order more pictures a year from now? Do you keep the photos?
All sessions are backed up to external media and can be retrieved easily.
What happens if my proof gallery is no longer on the website?
Due to website storage space, we have to limit proof galleries to two weeks. If it needs to be added back to the website after that, there will be a $25 charge per additional week.

What should we wear for the session?
Solid colors work best. Basically, nothing too busy or distracting. Bright colors are always welcome for kids as they can make for some fun color shots.
Do you shoot on location or in a studio?
I run my business out of my home with a small studio available. All of our equipment is portable, though.
We also do a majority of “location” sessions. We can offer some ideas for locations or feel free to offer your own ideas.
